“I grew up in a family that was always hosting - holidays, dinner parties, special occasions, etc. Hospitality runs through my blood.” It’s no surprise that working in restaurants, hotels, and golf courses helped Bryn through University. After graduating, however, Bryn knew she needed something that combined her love affair of “artistry” + “organization” + “hospitableness”.  Bryn found her calling as an event planner at an award winning Toronto Estate, hosting upscale weddings. “It was the perfect marriage! It allowed me to entertain, plan, help others, and put my creative cap on.”

After a few short years, Bryn took a deep dive into running her own company, An Artistic Affair. It wasn’t until she started thinking about her own nuptials, 9 years later, that she knew another change in her career was about to happen: extravagance was on the way out, and simple elegance was taking the stand. “My husband-to-be & I weren’t prepared to spend thousands on one day. Over the course of a year, we had bought a house (and renovated), a dog, and were expecting our first baby.  Through my years in wedding planning, I’ve heard countless other stories and situations that all led to the same sentiments.” Primp and Pop launched soon after, and Bryn hasn’t looked back since. Her new company helps lovers tie the knot in an affordable way without compromising on the quality and style of their day. Couples enjoy celebrations that are real, intimate, and all about them.
